About this deal
The Boba Wrap carries the International Hip Dysplasia Institute “hip healthy” certification as it maintains an ergonomic seat once correctly tied, which keeps your baby’s hips in the recommended 'M' position.
However, as most parents feel ready to move on from a stretchy wrap around 4 months anyway, I wouldn't really consider this a huge disadvantage. I suffer with a bit of neck, shoulder and back pain, down to years of working at a computer and scoliosis, but using the carrier didn’t aggravate those areas. For a new baby where they don't stretch the wrap out too much it has a very wide window of tolerance in terms of how tightly or loosely you tie it . It’s been designed with twins in mind, too, so it’s been made slightly wider so you can safely carry two babies at once!
You are best to keep the wrap on when out, even if you take your baby out of it temporarily – this is especially true if, like me, you are also chasing around after an active three-year-old. which is a bit of a personal preference and I guess depends if you are someone who is susceptible to overheating or not. The first is the Newborn Hold, which is suitable up to 10lbs/5kg in weight and keeps your baby’s legs inside the carrier. If you don't need the sling at the moment, you can roll it up and transport it in the integrated bag with carrying loop or stow it in your change bag. Our baby wraps come ready to wear but will soften wonderfully with love and wear, and come packaged in a handy organic cotton tote.Lightweight and easy to tie, these wraps will provide you and your baby with a comfortable, secure carrier to stroll in. And as Bamboo is a thermoregulator it will have the benefit of feeling warmer in the cooler mornings and evenings but not feeling too hot in the middle of the day.
