There is no opening at all on the left side, which makes it impossible to look at the extruder for example, and I often have to fully remove the printer from its enclosure if I want to make a repair or change a piece. Equipped with pure aluminium foil and flame retardant materials, this cover also helps the filament to heat up and maintain a constant temperature without any risk. You can easily access the printer by unzipping the front of the enclosure, which features a seethrough screen for full-time monitoring. Each variation also has a different electronics case with different airflows, and thus we had to design different vents.

Each enclosure is designed by purchasing the exact model of 3D printer, taking it apart, reverse engineering the airflow, followed by extensive in-house testing.

Just keep in mind that PETG is more flexible and will make the entire enclosure less rigid than if you had used ABS. To make sure you get quality prints while protecting your family's lungs we custom-designed an enclosure box/case for each Ender 3 S1 variation. The plug entrance is located to the left, which may be inconvenient for some people, but in my case I think it's a pretty good way to reach the plug quickly to disconnect it in case of emergency. The control panel is outside the enclosure so you can make changes to the print without having to open the doors. It keeps a nice and even temperature when fully closed, I haven't tried printing ABS with it but it's certainly a good way to help the printing. No light is included but you will need one to look inside the enclosure if it is closed as it gets very dark. With the automatic temperature measurement, the temperature and humidity in the printer can be seen at a glance. I still wouldn't leave it fully unattended, since it does say "flame retardant" and not fireproof, but I thankfully haven't had to test that part yet.
