also great to use whilst growing out roots till you decide which colour to choose with regular colourants. The darker shade for me gave me the best coverage on my lighter roots, as I tend to dye my hair darker than my true hair colour anyway. However it is a shame this is a bit on the pricier side for such a small amount and so I would be interested to see how long this lasted it you were using it regularly in-between colouring. Someone did point out that it’s a very handy product for wig wearers to run around the wig/hair line, but it’s a more patient person than me who can be bothered to be so exact about grey coverage. This is a trick I learned from a very popular hair stylist who works with a group of sisters we are ALL following. The dual-shade palette of our Colour Blending Concealer gives you the freedom to customize your shade and allows you to blend to perfection. The coverage and longevity were great on this and I did like how you could be more precise with the brush when applying it. So even though this product sample clearly isn’t my shade, I do at least, have some greys to try it out on. I also recommend using a large, well lit mirror when applying this, as it can be a little tricky trying to avoid getting it on the scalp area when you are doing this for the first time. A few months ago I reviewed the L'Oreal Magic Retouch Root Spray, so I thought it would be good to compare this with a powder version too. I love having products like John Frieda’s Root Blur available at Target because Target is my go-to for everything, including my hair products!

This would have been a god send for me when I used to have blonde highlights, my dark roots grow in at lightening speed. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Each shade has two colours in the compact, to use separately or to custom blend to match your exact hair colour. I am looking for something like this as my greys are popping up every 2-3 weeks now and I cannot get my hair coloured that often! It’s not a permanent color, but instead it’s a temporary root cover-up powder (mineral pigments) that will easily and naturally hide your roots!

I’m right at the point of wondering whether I should not conceal any stray greys anymore – I don’t have many but they’re irritatingly patchy rather than evenly shot through my hair (how annoying is it that any form of ageing can be so randomly uneven… ). Overall I did like this better than the spray version as it felt a little more comfortable than the L'Oreal one, but to be honest I think I would only use these root touch up products in an emergency as I just find although colouring your hair, a more time consuming, messy process, it just works better for me knowing, my roots are covered and I don't have to worry about transfer if I accidently touch my scalp. I also loved the fact this came in a compact with a mirror as well as a brush as this is such a great idea if your out and about, or in an emergency if you simply don't have time to fully re-dye your roots again. The mineral-pressed powder instantly adheres to conceal your roots and blends away dark roots with a single stroke. This root-cover-up powder is meant to cover dark roots or regrowth at the part or scalp line and it allows you to extend your highlights back towards your scalp. These root concealers, like this blonde root touch up, are pressed-powder products designed to temporarily cover visible greys or root regrowth.

Give your color an instant refresh with the John Frieda Root Blur Colour Blending Concealer, a dual-shade pressed powder palette that is easy to blend into your roots for a quick touch up that will last until you wash it out. Coloring my hair is not really a secret, but how I keep my pesky grey hairs under control between my hair appointments with my stylist was, until today.Do you think it would be possible to brush it through as I am sick of people telling me I should dye it. Obviously you’ll pick the shade that matches your desired color the best, the lighter or darker one or a combination of mixing both shades! I bought a cheap w7 root camouflage thing as an alternative to the John Frieda one after I lost my make up bag at the gym. I’m starting to see more and more grays as well, so I might need to invest in this again soon since I think I’ll need to color my hair have the baby arrives!
