The Ei3018 CO Alarm is SmartLINK compatible, Simply plug in an Ei3000MRF module for wireless interconnection, data extraction and real-time notifications of alarm activations and events via the SmartLINK Gateway and Portal. However, if that's not enough you can test the CO alarm through the test button, which can be used as a silence button if there is a false alarm. I think building regulations should be changed to allow battery alarm to be fitted as most also will last 10 years. The Ei3018 self-checks its sensor to ensure that it's always fully functioning and will alert you through LED flashes and/or audible beeps if there is a fault.
