Suitable for ages 10 plus this strategy game involves team work, forward planning and the willingness to sacrifice yourself for the greater good if necessary. Just like Climb, you have to roll the dice and get a number equal to or higher than the number shown on the card.

The humans are trying to activate the three locations (Maintenance Shed, Control Center, and Visitor’s Center), accomplish a certain number of goals, and get a certain number of survivors to the helicopter pad. For example, rather than explaining how the humans work and then how the dinosaurs work, the rulebook seems to jump between the two, so you have to read the entire booklet before you play either side. Once a player has no more cards in their hand, the character they are playing is eliminated from the game. You may try to activate a location at any time, once per round, while on the tile with that location. And with the variable tile layout, random character selection, and dice rolling, every game will play out a bit differently.

And secondly, the dinosaur player controls multiple pawns on the board, so why not have other players control multiple pawns as well? The dinosaur player controls three dinos at the same time, throughout the entire game and each one has a special ability to give them an edge.

The facilities are then added at their pre-determined locations and the players start in the centre or the island with the dinosaurs starting in their pens. If your character needs to go to a specific space to complete your goal place your character token on that space. I’m very sad my idea was “stolen” by the original creator but happy to know I can have good ideas…I’m not sure how to feel tho.
