I really don't like this one, it smells very spicy and heavy, and it does not last at all on my skin.

As far as the longevity I’m not sure, but I am wearing all this week to test it out but I love smelling my wrist is this creamy chocolate vanilla decadence. Definitely has the DNA from the original and is pretty similar but the sweetness is toned down and I find it less creamy. This exhilarating amalgamation of ingredients makes for an intense and long-lasting women’s scent that challenges gender stereotypes in fragrances. Finally got my sample of Extreme after YSL accidentally sent out samples of the OG to everyone who applied lol! I don't detect the jasmine (especially compared to the original Black Opium), but I suspect that it and the orange blossom (which I do notice, ever so slightly) are helping to round out the other notes. I swear, it’s witchcraft the way they’ve kept the notes separate so you can smell them simultaneously without them congealing into one singular smell. This fragance lasted 3-4 hrs on me, sillage was good the 1st hour, after that it remained close to skin. Please be aware my review is based on my personal preference for sweet scents, and I tend to dislike spicy notes in almost any degree.I think I like this one better :) On my skin, the coffee and bourbon vanilla notes are most noticeable. However, for someone who prefers sweet gourmand, amber scents, this is incredibly bitter for my taste.

It just works well for me, not at all generic, is has many facets with its jasmine, liquorice and pear.YSL Beaut Take international delight coffee mix, combine it w/ cheap hot chocolate mix and then mix all of that w/ baby powder and add some sharp chemicals to that mix and that is this perfume in a nutshell. That has a late night espresso bar vibe that I like very much (though it also has some cigarette smoke, so your mileage may vary) and which I was hoping for from Black Opium Extreme, but it was not to be.
