Trotzdem fand ich die Story humorvoll, süß, unterhaltsam und zwischendurch fühlte ich auch den Mafia-Vibe. Wer allerdings tiefgründige Handlungen bevorzugt, ist hier Fehl am Platz, dafür ist der Spice ordentlich vorhanden.

We find out some pretty disturbing things about him and it makes you wonder for a while why he is acting the way he is and also why he refuses to give up when it is clearly over.

I understand that she’s a UK author, but if the book is set in America the characters should sound American, not English (Sienna is the obvious exception).

I love every scene they have together and the chemistry it’s truly “fairytale type” that you cannot believe it.

I wouldn’t say this is a dark book but it does have a series of potential te so check them out before reading. It was nice to see the MMC realize what it was going to take to get his woman back and that it was not to be easy. If you love a protective/touch her you die MMC and a witty/knows her worth FMC, this book will check the box!
