Bear in mind the opening notes are quite strong but this comes alive after wearing on skin for an hour or two. When I first spray it I get this strong sweet bubblegum tuberose smell with woody undertones, reminds me of an ylang ylang in Guerlain L'instant perfume.

The scent is powerful, delightfully decadent in its tuberose, gardenia and jasmine trio draped in an airy vanilla shawl that left a heavenly trail.An attractive bottle designed by Serge Manseau is the embodiment of virtues of this fragrance, which is oriental-floral, warm and sweet. In the sense that the one this reminds me of (which my mother used to own) was Ysatis, which again was a very grown up and feminine fragrance. Comparing the two, I actually think the current EDP is stronger, but by stronger I mean more cloying/louder.

My husband didn't like it and my signatures at that time were YSL Opium and Elizabeth Arden's Red Door.In conclusion, I really wanted to love this, especially given how beautiful the bottle is, but I suppose the empty bottle will have to remain decorative for the future. Vintage Organza (the woman's silhouette is frosted glass and the juice is darker) is a beautiful, non-offensive, gardenia-jasmine-vanilla. My first impression of this perfume, years ago, was that it is fitting for a very elegant woman in a glamorous evening setting.
