As she gets to know Levan more she begins to think that he could be different until she finds out he isn’t what he seems either. She steps out of her beautiful costal cottage where she is running her coffee business and sets eyes on Speedo-wearing stranger Levan doing yoga in the next doors garden. An unforgettable tale of romance, humour and heart set against the stunning backdrop of the Cornish coast, from the Sunday Times bestseller. The main characters of Eden and Levan are well written, and I look forward to the author's next book.

Despite her self-imposed moratorium from men, Eden can’t help feeling a zing of attraction as she spots his toned body.

T. They start to get closer, but there are secrets between them that need to be told if they have any chance of a relationship. I absolutely loved the descriptions of the lighthouse and the scenery … made me long for a holiday on the Cornish coast. Morwenna was another great character, and I'd like to read a story with her as the main character finding her love! The confrontation wasn't as final, and I could easily imagine Simon coming back, but he's a complete slimeball. The setting is gorgeous, but I had trouble warming to the heroine, Eden, and wasn't certain I would like her grandmother and mother.

Eden and Levan have a rocky road, but they can handle it and will come out at the end of the path stronger as one. Although very polite and friendly Eden finds it very strange that he hardly ever tells them anything about himself. I especially adore elderly people in books I read, so the inclusion of Iris as a main character was joyful. The characterisation is so in-depth, and the family connections, so solid - despite the secrets held deeply within. The setting of this novel was beautiful and it really makes you think about how difficult the life of a lighthouse keeper could have been, alone, and away from your family for weeks at a time, and how difficult it must have been for the families left behind as well.

Most of the characters had secrets that they didn't want the others to find out, or were afraid of revealing. Phillipa Ashley has once again created an immersive book that captured my imagination from the earliest pages. Helping them to move forward, leaving parts of their past behind to create and achieve a new bright and happy future.

Milly Johnson 'A blissful story, full of sunshine, secrets and Phillipa's trademark romance' - Cressida McLaughlin 'Sunshine, secrets and a stunning setting make this the perfect summer read! The descriptions of the cottages and the lighthouse are so vivid that you can really picture what Eden is seeing as she goes to work and back home to the cottages.

Thanks to Netgalley, Avon books UK and Phillips Ashley for an advanced copy in exchange for and unbiased and honest review. But as she gets to know Levan, Eden begins to wonder if he might be different – until she discovers he’s not quite what he seems. I really felt for Eden with all that she had been through, but Levan has his own issues that are gradually revealed during the book.
