If you read my 'What I Got For Christmas' post ( HERE) you may have seen that I received the gorgeous Becca Glow On The Go Gift Set in Moonstone.

Onto the colors, I’ve split the 15 colors I now own into 3 categories so you can see the shimmer/colors better up close. I am have a very fair complexion, and something about this light color, with the slightest bit of gold and sheen, really helps my complexion, (sort of the way really fair people look nice in ivory or off white, instead of bright bright white clothes). It’s too deep to work as a highlight or even a blush topper on my skin but I can use it over my matte bronzer to give the face a glow. When Jaclyn Hill, one of my favourite YouTubers, raved about this, that I decided that my life would not be complete until I tried it.The brand’s Shimmering Skin Perfector liquid highlighters have been a makeup artist staple for years, and for good reason. It’s similar in finish to Moonstone but the icy white hue makes it less wearable for warmer skin tones.

Pearl is my second Becca highlighting powder (Moonstone being the first which is reviewed here), and just like Moonstone, Pearl is an excellent quality highlighter. Depending on how little or how much you are using, you can create the full-on Instagram glam to every day healthy glow with these babies. It has a lot of very small shimmer that gives it that lovely skin like sheen and it also has a few bigger shimmer which can be seen up close and looks like a gold or even multicolored. I still find the texture of the formula to seem a bit drier compared to the one years ago (like in 2013), though the actual color, application, and effect on my skin looks the same. This is a creamy, soft and smooth highlighter that is very finely milled and with the right brush it applies to the skin like a dream.
