About this deal

Not my personal taste in text, though - a bit too abstract - but I can see others using it or enjoying it. Too often people don't realize it's okay not to have all the answers and this book is one way to share with kids that it's okay to just wonder and not know. Knopf (now part of Penguin Random House), the novel was a top seller for the firm when the film was released in 2017, when it sold 5 million copies in combined book and ebook units in the United States. You can choose for someone else to receive your Wonderbooks, they make great educational children’s gifts!

Tastes vary, of course, so I'd still recommend this one to picture-book readers looking for titles meant to encourage curiosity and questioning in young children, as they explore their world.

I Wonder is undeniably obsessively stylish but its contents are by turn informed, witty and, in the case of the chapters about ‘Memory’, movingly personal. Your monthly payments to Save the Children have been helping children in the UK and around the world get the chance of a future they deserve.

Spine sunned, a little loose, edges of some of the plate mounting pages are worn, not affecting the plates themselves which are in fine condition. There is loss to the top of the spine and edge nibbling at the bottom of the spine and the flap joints and along the top edge of the back cover. But I also realized something even more important: I hadn’t taught her to say “I don’t know” let alone celebrated her ability to do so. The illustrations are all present, though some have been bound-in next to pages other than their listed positions.

Previous owners name lightly stamped at top of dust jacket, on the front free endpaper, and on page 3. It was delayed again due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, then premiered at the 43rd San Francisco Jewish Film Festival on July 30, 2023. For example, the photographic series of everyday, bland signposts in the author’s hometown first reveals the idiosyncratic typographic appeal of everyday graphics.Baucis and Philemon were rewarded by the gods for their kindness; they were promised never to live apart from one another "The Chimæra" - recounts the story of Bellerophon taming Pegasus and killing the Chimæra. red clothbound hardback with decorative gilt titles to spine and upper board, in scarce, original dust jacket with colour plate pasted on. Thinking about it more though, maybe that's why this book is perfect for our family, because I am a "let's find out" kind of mom. Eva takes a walk with her mother and encounters a range of mysteries: from gravity, to life cycles, to the vastness of the universe. It’s a readable collection of smart, visually-intense short stories, and a design book that will likely never leave your coffee table.

All of the colour plates are present (although mispaginated as in all copies of the trade edition we have examined) and in fine condition with no creasing. August Pullman a young boy around the age of ten is just starting his new elementary school Beecher Prep. Julian's friends happen to walk by, and they rush to the defense of their classmates, impressed by Auggie's boldness in standing up to the bullies. Wonder is in part inspired by an incident where the author's son started to cry after noticing a girl with a severe facial deformity. The performance itself was a little awkward with the production quality and reader style but still enjoyable overall. His ancestors include John Hathorne, the only judge involved in the witch trials who never repented of his actions. The sense of wonder in the book is achieved through the way in which Sylvia's life stories intertwine with story-telling and with the rhyme-elves' creation of beautiful pictures and poems. Inspiring the sense of inquiry within young learners is essential for future development and gathering interest about systems in which the world operates. That said, there isn't really much to this one, from a storytelling perspective - it's not really a story at all - and I doubt that it will prove that memorable.
