About this deal

I’m very excited for Viggo’s story, the next and final Bergman Brothers book which is expected in 2024 as Viggo is one of my favourite Bergmans since he’s very into reading historical romance, so I just know that I’m going to love his story! It'll make you smile endlessly, giggle, swoon, cry, sob out of sheer happiness, feel love flooding every inch of your soul and it'll fill you with the gentle courage to dream. I know this is not the first MF book adding it, but there are so few of them that I was over the moon when I discovered that Ziggy was bisexual, had to double check when Sebastian said he identified himself as pansexual.

A longtime good girl and unapologetic bad boy score the love of their life when they least expect to in this swoony, slow-burn sports romance. You know those stories which make your heart ache in the best ways possible, which make you feel loved, seen, cherished and understood in a way that nothing or no one else ever has and the ones - whose words hug you right through the screen, holding you close and soothing your soul. It’s the total package, flawed but lovable characters, amazing rep (mental health, chronic illnesses, and above all, being on the autism spectrum), and so much longing and pining.

Her two grown-up daughters, Jess and Lily, are estranged, and her two teenage granddaughters have never been allowed to meet. This here is the sixth instalment in her Bergman Brother Series, and even though I adore the series as a whole, there are some books that I like more than others - naturally. Ziggy (Sigrid) is the youngest Bergman, and still, frustratingly for her, seen as the baby, despite now being twenty-two.The transition of their feelings from needing each other in the sense of they both wanting to take some advantage, to needing each other for more and for keeps was actually so smoothly developed and very sweet, honestly.

Ziggy (Sigrid) is a 22-year-old girl who is a combination of badass, goofy, quirky, smart, and generous-hearted. I really loved the way she grew through the story, and was pleasantly surprised by her sass, as well as how she handled her brothers. Due to PIR's fallout with pop audiences at the end of the seventies and again struggling to find a recording suitable to become a major hit for the singer, the album failed to produce hits like her previous four offerings.

Every small, little detail of their story has been woven with such deep meaningfulness and thoughtfulness.

They're flawed and complicated, they mess up a lot (I'm looking at you Seb), but at the end of the day they just want to be seen for who they truly are and not the mask they present to the world.

Any other day, I'd probably stand here, tongue-tied, stunned that Sebastian's acknowledged my existence. And when I curled up on the couch, I suddenly had a lump in my throat because Ziggy and Seb’s story hit so close to home. So I propose a fake friendship with real benefits- spending time in the public eye, my good-girl image and his bad-boy notoriety rubbing off on each other.
