This stuff lasts and lasts and lasts, starts off a little scratchy, but does smooth out in the dry down. I may need this as I think it’s beating out the Cobalt, also easily probably my favorite of the Invictus line, because it stands apart from the usual bubble gum smell.

After Phantom and 1 Million Elixir the next flanker with almost the same dreadful smell a bit mixed with other components. If you have not smelled it and you like marine-based freshies, you have missed the triumph that is Invictus. I sprayed 2015 Invictus on this morning, and 13 hours later, it's STILL projecting😳 Not only that, it's much fuller and vibrant; the reformulated bottles smell like air freshener, and they're weak as flat lemonade. Whether you are giving the Invictus EDT as a gift or simply treating yourself, the presentation is sure to impress. But when I got it it turned out that it's a fake that looks similar to the original, but not even half as good.I would imagine that this would be a perfect fragrance for those going to high school, as its versatile and lasts throughout the school day. If the earlier iterations of Invictus threw you off from the herbal bay/laurel leaf which some people aren’t fans of, I’d recommend trying this one.
It does have sweetness in the opening, but I find it hard to pick up 5 minutes after the opening, only a hint of it is left if you sniff it up close. Of all the Invictus flankers, this one stands on its own and takes Invictus to a new place, the others feel similar to each other. The whole thing reminds me of some travelling sideshow, blaring about the wonders you'll behold by entering its tent, but all you'll see by doing so, are some miserable fake monsters made of plaster and badly painted. Interestingly, on a tester strip it smelled less sweet and more green, but on my skin it's the other way around. And to add insult to injury, three out of four noses did the same with Burberry's Brit Rhythm, another benchmark of mediocrity and "forgotten in a heartbeat" quality. On the whole, I am more than satisfied with the product, but I find the product a bit too expensive.
