Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Her writing style, flawed yet sweet characters, progressive thinking and humour usually slap me right in the feels. I love reading books with a confident thick girl, and Cassandra/Cozy embraces her curves… and Max loves them all 😉. If you go through my highlights you will see how this dominated the narrative for at least 80% of the book.

At first I was like hmm it’s ok idk how I feel about her wanting to go by “Cozy” BUT once the relationship started developing I was LIVING.

So when her mother takes a chance at a summer overseas, Max has to find someone to stay with Everly for the summer. However, their connection is deep, because they're more than what they seem at a first glance, and because they match. In one breath she would say she was happy with her body, yet in the next she thought she was too fat for Max to want. I was waiting patiently for this book to come out, I thought Daws would stay in the Harris world forever and never finish this series, which is part of the reason why I was disappointed with this book.
