About this deal

Tocmai de aceea, părinții își trimit copiii singuri, în zonele rurale, pentru a îi salva un pic de la toată trauma pe care o provoacă un război de o asemenea amploare. See our Remarkables Archive for some that are no longer in print, but which we are happy to try to track down. Twists, turns, coded messages and conflicts prevail in this beautifully pitched story that provides a fine balance between sensitivity and adventure.

Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.Olive is a brave heroine and there's a good twist towards the end that even the most wily readers won't see coming. I did read it really quickly There is secrecy, mystery, adventure and real danger within the story which is narrated by the main character, a twelve years old girl. It tells the reader about all the difficult times that people faced during the war, such as Kindertransport, Hitler and deciding whether to evacuate your children.

Furthermore, can Olive and Cliff penetrate the chill of their evacuation and find safety, solace and thereafter, Sukie?Letters from the Lighthouse has a unique plot which I personally think Emma Carroll has succeeded in to make it a bestseller. Soon Olive finds herself caught up in a dark mystery linking the disappearance of her sister Sukie with a strangely coded message. Olive is a wonderful young girl: she is clever, resilient, kind and likeable, but is also capable of making mistakes and taking actions which she later regrets.
