About this deal

While it seems like a bit of a star on paper, it doesn't really look like one. It’s far from ugly with its matt-white body, rounded edges and quirky blue fascia, but there’s nothing about it that really shouts ‘cutting edge’. At least at only 35cm wide it doesn't take up too much space, and its insignificant weight (4.2kg) makes it ripe for ceiling/bookshelf mounting. This projector comes with 4K UHD screen featuring whopping 8.3m pixels fand HDR colour quality for any lighting. And that, no projector can beat for sure.

Zoom lens light loss. The TK800 has a 1.2x zoom lens that we measured a losing about 3% at the telephoto end, so there is no reason to worry about which end of the zoom you're using. Throw range defines the picture quality from a certain distance and this is where both the models vary a little. The TK800 features about 1.2x zoom whereas the other one features 1.1x zoom. The BenQ Tk800M is almost as same as the TK800 but with minor upgrades. Zooming Pixel Performance and Adjustable Sounds are some of its best features. Just like the other one, it produces amazing 4K images on the screen. The colours are vivid, bright, and sharp ensuring great on-screen quality even in well-lit ambient rooms. Fan noise. BenQ has done a good job with fan noise on this projector. The noise is audible in full lamp mode, but not at all excessive or objectionable in our opinion. Dropping the unit into Economic mode will render the fan very quiet with just a low buzz that you can detect in a silent room. Even in High Altitude mode, which is required at 1500 meters elevation, fan noise is remarkably unobtrusive compared to a lot of projectors we've heard. And in High Altitude, dropping it into Economic mode renders it surprisingly quiet.

This one is considered the best for sports watching and other Sport within the facility of your home but a stadium-like experience. In that case you’ll want to look at active cables that have a signal booster built into the cable, or a fiber optic HDMI cable (also active) that can work up to 150 feet and more without issue. The problem is they’re both more expensive than passive cables, although the prices have been coming down. They’re also unidirectional, so if the cable isn’t working, turn it around and you should get picture.Place the BenQ projector at the right distance to maximize visual enjoyment, key in the number and let the “Throw Distance Calculator” do the math for you. There isn’t anything ‘wow’ in the design and both look as fine as any other projector in the market. They are designed with a whitish plastic having round edges with some teal blue details on the front. You can witness un-matched clarity and crispy voice-quality that let you get the best of the details so you won’t miss any beat ever.
