A third series was subsequently commissioned in May 2022, adapted from the novels Dead Like You, Dead Man's Grip and Not Dead Yet. I persevered as usually with this type of format the second half is exciting as it all comes together. However I felt completely let down. One character central from the start was just thrown away, completely wasted storyline, the man storyline was predictable and as for 2 of the other subplots they were very poorly given one paragraph to conclude in what can only be described as a damp squib of a conclusion.Once again, spearheading the Not Dead Yet cast is Gina Rodriguez. Rodriguez has won a Golden Globe for her work in Jane the Virgin, and has also starred in movies like Someone Great, Miss Bala and Awake. Additionally, her voice has been heard as Gina Alvarez in the hit Netflix series Big Mouth. The issue of Sandy seems to be nearing a conclusion though I was a bit perturbed to see a very different version of the last few weeks between her and Roy's thoughts. But viewers were a little bit split on the drama itself, with some annoyed at the cliffhanger ending and others concerned that the adaptation had drifted too far from the book.
