This one did feel the most squishy and jelly-like of the bunch, so it was a little more sheer on the 1st coat. It was pretty well opaque with 2 – though this is one that definitely needed 3 on my super ridged nails. If your nails are smooth, you should be good with just 2. The OPI Power of Hue Collection is one of the best OPI summer collections. Not only because of its bright and bold colour palette and that AMAZING holographic glitter but because of the message behind it. Once again, an uneven 1st coat, and pretty well opaque with a 2nd though I did have some nails that I added a 3rd. You know the drill – it’ll depend on your own application. But of course I’ll be honest and say this was a touch more uneven and sheer than I’ve noticed normally with OPI cream formulas. This one is ‘Sky True to Yourself’, and it’s the lighter of the 2. This is a bright sky blue shade (sky true, sky blue, I see what they’re doing here) with just the tiniest touch of green to it – and large scattered silvery blue flakey shimmer all throughout. This is a peachy orange, almost slightly beige shade. It definitely pulls more peachy on my own nails and undertones, but on others it can look more orange or beige-y. The other contender for my favorite of the collection is this BEAUTY. This is our other blue and it’s called ‘Feel Bluetiful’ and you know, I WILL, OPI, THANK YOU. This is a bright, warm-toned almost turquoise shade with gorgeous golden shimmer to it.

Now we finish on up with our purples. This is ‘Don’t Wait, Create’ and it’s the lighter of the 2, and it’s a warm toned lilac base with scattered silvery flakey shimmers all throughout. The formulation is sheer so I needed three coats for the swatches below. All of the shades are so bright and vibrant, and they all have a uniquely interesting shimmer finish. I do love different formulas and a theme for a mainstream brand, so I wasn’t mad at OPI trying something new. Alright, into the individual shades.Although I just shared the swatches of the OPI Spring 2022 collection, slowly some information about the OPI Summer 2022 collection is being released! Every time OPI releases a new collection, I’m super excited. This time is definitely no different! The new collection is going to be called ‘Power of hue’ and will consist of 12 bright new shades. I’m a massive OPI fan anyway, but the OPI Power of Hue Summer 2022 Collection is the prettiest nail polish collection they’ve done in a long time. Go to Grape Lengths: A bold purple scattered with blue and pearl shimmers, Go To Grape Lengths is decently pigmented. You can probably get away with two coats but I used three just in case for a fully opaque finish. Sky True to Yourself: This is a beautiful baby blue scattered with soft blue and pearlescent shimmers. The formulation is sheer so I needed three coats. And of course we need a TRUE BRIGHT ORANGE in the lineup. This is ‘Mango For It’, a true bright tropical orange base with tons of golden shimmer all throughout.
