PHASE II CLONE TROOPER: So symbolic were they of the times, the galaxy-wide conflict that saw their debut took its name from their ranks: the Clone Wars Clone commandos wore Katarn-class armor, a heavier version of the standard-issue clone trooper armor. I would like to point out that whole parts like the gauntlet, shoe, shin, thigh, bicep, handplate, shoulder and maybe some others only appear once in the template. You can flip over the template and reuse it to make a symmetrical second armor piece. For pieces like the chest, you obviously only need one in the end. Once the Republic Military transitioned to Phase II clone trooper armor, clone gunners were also provided with the upgraded clone trooper armor. One variant of the armor included helmet modifications, as well as a large chest and right shoulder pauldron. Clone majors were equipped with this Phase II clone gunner armor. [7] Additionally, another type of Phase II armor was used by clone gunners, which was a direct upgrade of the previous set of armor. This armor set included the additional helmet insulation equipment, as well as reinforced chest and shoulder armor. [8] Both Phase I and the secondary Phase II armor of the clone gunner were identical to the armor used by Clone Engineers, which were a different specialization of clone troopers that confirmed that Republic vehicles were operating in top condition. [9] Role [ ] ELECTRONIC VOICE DISTORTION: With the press of a button, fans and collectors can distort their voice to sound like that of a Phase II Clone Trooper

Phase II clone trooper armor was manufactured by Kaminoan armorsmiths. [1] More advanced than the Phase I clone trooper armor, Phase II armor was capable of supporting more specialized equipment. [10] It was, therefore, more expensive to produce, costing 3,000 credits per suit [2] whereas Phase I cost 2,000 credits. [11] Unlike Phase I, [12] Phase II did not feature an internal life support system, necessitating the use of an external respirator in the absence of breathable atmosphere. [13] As such, Phase II helmets featured an advanced filtration system, and were also designed to be more comfortable to wear than Phase I helmets. Your armor, it's shiny and new, just like you." ―Captain CT-7567 "Rex" and the rookie CT-1409 "Echo" [25] Phase II armor was retained by the clones, who became the first stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire. I'm proud of my service, but I really hate this armor." ―Rex, referring to his Republic service and stormtrooper armor [28]

Phase I vs. Phase II Clone Trooper Armor Explained

Four unpainted, uniquely-sculpted Phase II Clone Trooper miniatures and a Phase II Clone Trooper unit leader miniature appear with their standard issue DC-15A blaster rifles. Star Wars: Legion — TX-130 Saber-class Fighter Tank Unit Expansion (Card: TX-130 Twin Laser Turret) I used US Letter sized paper for mine, but you could probably use a4 just make sure to use the original image size when you print and don't convert it to a4 or it will shrink the template to fit the different paper. Some of the edges will get cut off if you use anything other than US Letter, but honestly as long as you have the basic shape, you can guess the bit that gets cut off.

In Legends, Phase II was seen as an improvement over Phase I. However, in the canon Star Wars: The Clone Wars, some characters had reservations about the Phase II armor. There were suggestions of Phase II armor being of a lesser quality than Phase I, with some clones even preferring Phase II’s predecessor. Hence, it seems Phase II was certainly designed to be superior to Phase I, but it’s unclear if the actual armor met its expectations.Star Wars: Build Your Own R2-D2 5 ( Droid Directory: 2-1B-series Medical Droids, Part 1) (Picture only) Clone gunners saw action within the Galactic Republic early during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, participating in the Battle of Christophsis. There, four clone gunners, each operating an AV-7 artillery piece, held Separatist forces at bay with the support of ground troops and tanks from the 501st Legion and the 7th Sky Corps, respectively under the command of Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Gunners subsequently participated in the Battle of Teth with the 501st's Torrent Company, as they manned the cannons of two All Terrain Tactical Enforcers. Both gunners were killed during the engagement, the first when a walker was destroyed, and the second was shot out of the cannon and fell to his death. [2] During the Battle of Bothawui, the naval task force of General Skywalker deployed a large contingent of AT-TE walkers on the asteroid field surrounding the planet Bothawui. There, the walkers and its gunners ambushed the Separatist fleet under the command of General Grievous, allowing Republic forces to win the battle. [12] Ryloth, Felucia, and Devaron [ ] As said above, Phase I Clone Trooper armor bore a striking resemblance to Mandalorian armor. The helmet is nearly identical in style, as is the body glove covered in white plastoid plates. Just upon looking at the armor, though, one can tell that it looks both clunky and uncomfortable, as well as unable to withstand a lot of force. Meanwhile, the Phase II Clone Trooper armor does away with the Mandalorian resemblance and is more tailored to human anatomy. The new helmet was designed to have a more comfortable fit, as well as an advanced air filtration system. Meanwhile, the design does still use the body glove with plastoid plates, but the plates are more formfitting, lighter, and stronger than Phase I’s plates. PREMIUM ELECTRONIC HELMET: Featuring highly detailed deco, series-inspired design, adjustable fit, and electronic voice distortion, this full-scale Phase II Clone Trooper helmet is an iconic addition to any Star Wars fan’s collection
