About this deal

The Core i7-13700K typically has a TDP of around 125W. When selecting a CPU cooler, it’s important to consider its cooling capacity, usually measured in TDP. Ensure that the CPU cooler can effectively dissipate the heat generated by the processor to maintain optimal temperatures and prevent thermal throttling. What type of CPU cooler is recommended for the Core i7-13700K? With the rather large 280mm and 360mm radiator setup for the Z63 nd Z73, NZXT has been able to largely distance itself from such problems. Our testing setup included the following hardware: Eyepieces: I believe I'll need 2" unless I can (believe) get a star diagonal

I would pigeon hole this telescope as an upper mid range piece of equipment. There are a lot more expensive scopes out there and there are a lot less expensive but as far as quality of optics and affordability is concerned, you will not find a better 430mm focal length - 73mm apochromatic refracting telescope on the market to come anywhere close. This telescope is a wide field scope and is absolutely perfect for imaging open star clusters (Pleiades) vast nebulae (Orion, North America, California) globular clusters and also certain galaxies (Andromeda, Triangulum, Pinwheel) to name just a few. For those seeking customization options, the H150i can be upgraded with an LCD screen. This allows users to display system information and personalized images on the 3.5-inch screen, similar to the RYUJIN ii. With this upgrade, the H150i not only excels in performance but also offers a visually appealing design. For this recommendation, we specifically selected the 240mm variant of the Liquid Freezer II. It serves as a solid starting point, and if you require more cooling capacity, you can easily upgrade to the larger 280mm or 360mm variants.

Notably, NZXT’s Aer P fans not only perform well in terms of static pressure but also operate quietly across different temperature ranges, producing minimal noise even at maximum speed.

You will however 100% need the William Optics dedicated field flattener if you plan to use this scope for astrophotography. The NZXT Kraken series is highly acclaimed among enthusiasts, and the Kraken Z73 360mm AiO is our top recommendation for those looking for a premium cooling solution for the i7 13700K. The Z73 excels in cooling performance and features a distinct and visually appealing design that enhances the look of any build. It comes with three high static pressure Aer P 120mm fans, specifically designed to optimize airflow through radiator fins, effectively dissipating heat. The Z73 utilizes the 7th Gen Asatek pump with custom housing, delivering exceptional cooling capabilities. But those who do choose the Kraken Z73 won’t likely be disappointed or bored with this cooler. Its performance is great. And once you get tired of its looks you can fire up the software, change up what’s on the bright LCD display, and give your system that cool “new cooler” look.

Actual performance varies with AIO coolers since these products allow for almost anyone to get into water-cooling, but they omit one vital component of any custom loop — the reservoir. One way to battle this, especially with smaller 120mm radiator units, is to bump the pump and fan speeds, which can have a negative effect on noise generation. I use the Z73 with the field flattener and a Canon 200d Astro modded DSLR camera which has a C-Size sensor mounted on the HEQ5 Pro mount and the results are simply astounding.

If you want to take images of distant galaxies then this isn’t the scope for you. If you however want to image vast nebulae, star forming regions and their surrounding nebulosity then this is the scope for you. At Rother Valley Optics, one thing we pride ourselves on is customer service and quality of our equipment. When we test your telescope, we will ensure that it is of the highest quality otherwise, we will reject the scope under our strict quality control and test another model for your peace of mind. One of the main values to look at when testing a refractor is the Strehl ratio. The higher this number, the higher quality lens you have. At Rother Valley Optics, we will guarantee the highest possible Strehl ratio for your telescope. We will aim to provide 0.95 Strehl or higher on Takahashi, RVO Horizon, William Optics and many more! Generally, the higher the Strehl ratio, the lower the Astigmatism and Coma meaning a better image quality from your instrument. One downside of the NZXT Kraken Z73 is the absence of built-in RGB lighting in the fans, which may disappoint users who want synchronized aesthetics. Although there is an RGB version available, the added cost may not be justifiable for all consumers.

The WORST Trend In Gaming

Thermal imaging from the FLIR ONE Pro camera shows little difference between 50% and 100% fan speeds, which mirrors the narrow differences in CPU temperatures over ambient we observed. Nominal changes on the radiator inlet and outlet tanks as well as the lateral length of the radiator are the only indication between the two testing runs. All-in-One Liquid Coolers: These coolers offer a balance between cooling performance and aesthetics. They consist of a pump, radiator, and fans. They require less space compared to custom liquid cooling solutions but might be costlier.
