The parent-to-son discussion becomes a heated argument when Alan asserts that the toys were responsible for his father's crafting tools missing, leading his parents to suspect he might be using drugs and regressing to his mischievous lifestyle. Alan, furious at Archer for not supporting him, demands why he did not speak up to prove to his parents that the toys are alive, to which Archer responds by repeating Alan's earlier command to 'shut up'. Alan worries that he will suffer losses of others' trust if the Gorgonites have been destroyed, whereupon Archer replies that the Gorgonites must be alive, because the Commandos are still seeking them.

Even though fans say he is a feline creature when really he is a hybrid of animals the most rudiment animal traits are felines his ears are similar to canines and his horn is based off of a rhino. In the morning, as the authorities clean up, Mars arrives by helicopter, paying off Joe and both families for the damage, and instructs Larry and Irwin to repurpose the Commando Elite for military use. Alan and Christy start a relationship, and he discovers the Gorgonites survived the EMP underneath the Fimples' satellite dish. Alan brings the Gorgonites to Yosemite, sharing a goodbye before sending them off in his father's toy boat to find their home. Major Chip Hazard is About to Shoot You: An in-universe promotional image for the Commando Elite line uses this very heavily.There he breaks through their defenses, destroying everything to prevent them from invading Gorgon again before battling Chip himself in the inner sanctum of the main base Garrison Prime. Chip has encased himself in deadly battle armor, but Archer still manages to defeat him and Chip ends up fried to a fritter from the deadly range of one of his own cannons. Gone Horribly Right: Putting AI into toys, programming them as soldiers and giving them a specific enemy? They become more dangerous than full sized human soldiers. It's worth noting that numerous times Larry and Irwin both admit that there's nothing wrong with the intelligence chips. He was a natural leader and an unerringly capable commander, taking charge in the final battle for the Gorgonites. He was also a psychotic sociopath, extremely self-centered and also seen to be a very complete dry psychopath.

Larry, followed by Irwin, has this when he realized he accidentally put military chips into the the toys. Subverted by the end of the movie. Instead of selling them to children, Mars decides to sell them to the Department of Defense, at a much higher price. No Flow in CGI: The Gwendy Dolls notably have long hair before the Commandos bring them to life, but are all bald afterwards. This is obviously because animating long hair with late 90s CGI would have been a nightmare. One Gwendy Doll with hair is obviously a puppet. For Optimus Prime, both are wise and humble robots who were treated like villains until the real villain rises. both are leaders of there heroic leagues to help humans defeat their enemies including Gorgonites vs. Commandos, & Autobots vs Decepticons, both are destined to protect their world including Gorgon and Cybertron, and both are unable to defeat their archenemies.They find Christy and Archer cuts her loose. Together she and Alan destroy most of the Gwendy dolls that had been programmed by the Commandos as military reinforcements and try to escape the Commandos themselves who by this time have realized their deceit. Tommy Lee Jones voices Major Chip Hazard, who at the end of the second act gets horrific burns down one side of his face. The Commandos all bear some resemblance to their voice actors. Since the Gorgonites where based off of characters from the franchise "Masters of the Universe", some of his facial and body features may of come from them. However this might be a small reference to Frank Langella playing Skeletor in the 1987 film of the franchise.

General Ripper: Chip Hazard. He's obsessed with exterminating the Gorgonites, since that's what he was programmed to do: wipe out the enemy. If he tries to summon two of them, the allies already summoned will then disappear. If Chip Hazard wins in the frag-mode or flag-mode he is also shown in the victory screen, with them saying "Victory Chip Hazard". Then you can choose to quit the two-player game, that either Archer or Chip Hazard has just won or replay it and start over that same two-player, to see who else might win, or lose. Whoever loses in the two-player mode after someone else has won, then the loser is never shown on the victory-screen only the winner, because they they only want to to show who wins and not who loses. There's also a notable one between Irwin and Larry, as demonstrated at the board meeting in the opening scene. Irwin is the creative mind behind the Gorgonites and designed them with the express purpose of helping kids learn. However, as a trade off for his imagination, he's rather clumsy at presenting his idea, to the point he has to hastily improvise his presentation of the Gorgonites as he goes along. By contrast, Larry may not be as brilliant as his cohort, and goes with the safe approach of making the Commando Elite action toys. Although his ideas aren't original, he makes up for it in presentation, as demonstrated in his model of Major Chip Hazard and his commercial for the Commando Elite. Not to mention countless homages to The Terminator and the obligatory 2001: A Space Odyssey/ Also sprach Zarathustra riff.

Police Are Useless: Taken to ridiculous extremes. Not only do they dismiss Christy's statements about the Commando Elites when she calls 911 and consider it a nuisance call, but when she tries to make them come by admitting she made a nuisance call (a rather serious crime in itself), they simply hang up. Conservation of Ninjutsu: In the finale, an entire store line of Commandos are defeated by half a dozen Gorgonites with no casualties; the only part with any suspense is the showdown with (one) Chip Hazard.from theatrical trailer] GloboTech Defense Systems.
