About this deal

The Lacura Miracle Cream is a dupe of the Elizabeth Arden cream and isn’t just a moisturiser, but is also an anti-inflammatory. I have been using the day and night creams for 5 weeks now. The smell of both the Day and Night Cream is pleasant. However, I can’t honestly say they have reduced my fine lines at this point in time and have no raised expectations. The morning newsletter arrives every day before 9am and the evening newsletter, manually curated by the team, is sent at 6.30pm, giving you a round up of the most important stories of the day.

I love a face wipe (I get a lot of jip from people about it) and the Aldi Lacura face wipes are my wipes of choice. They’re based on the Simple sensitive skin cleansing facial wipes. It wasn’t until my 30’s did I start using night cream properly, and this is the best product! If I use this, my face isn’t all dried up in the morning, and after about a month of using it, my skin felt A LOT smoother and softer. You can mix Lacura facial oil with moisturiser or apply a standalone moisturiser first (which I do) and pat two drops – no more, on top to ‘seal it in’ and help prevent moisture loss, it’s light but still potent. My sensitive skin hasn’t experienced any breakouts with this oil which can happen with botanicals. Give it ten minutes to ‘dry’ before applying sunscreen on top.Similar to Pixi’s Rose Oil Blend, this oil not only smells delicious and natural but sinks in immediately with no oily residue although that does mean there’s no slip for a self-face massage. I wasn’t even a fan of facial oils until I got older and my skin became less oily and more parched. You know how much I love Aldi’s dupes, but am particularly keen on its Lacura range, which has some amazing beauty and make-up products which are heavily (ahem) ‘inspired’ on big make-up products for a fraction of the price. Both the Simple and Lacura facial wipes are fragrance-free, no artificial perfumes, colours, harsh chemicals etc so are OK to use with sensitive skin.

There is a standard collection that is always in-store and now online, but Aldi is always bringing out new Lacura ranges all the time which are a limited edition. Lacura Caviar Illumination Day Cream SPF 15 – La Prairie Skin Caviar Collection Dupe This rose oil is so amazingly lovely on the skin and it also soaks in well without leaving an oily complexion. This is definitely going to be in my long term beauty regime. First time using this product and I find it absolutely fantastic. No adverse reaction and my skin looks and feels great. Waiting to see if scarring improves after a few weeks use. Some people do find that if they have sensitive skin, the Caviar Illumination Day Cream can irritate them.I’m finally reviewing this because not only have I gone through a couple of bottles but because it is now a permanent fixture in the Lacura lineup. Wow , the results are amazing. A cream that was non-greasy, was well absorbed and kept my skin nice and hydrated. An added bonus is the smell. Some women are complaining about it but I find it lovely!’ Wow, this product is so good! It is very very similar to the Pixi Rose Oil. It contains rose and pomegranate oils with Vitamin E. On the box it states that the oils help to nourish, soothe and moisturise skin and that skin will be left looking healthier, more radiant and that the natural oils will deeply moisturise. It’s what’s inside that counts though right? Ok smell. I’ve sniffed these pots a billion times. They aren’t quite the same, but they also kind of are. I know that’s a rubbish description (ha!). but the biggest difference is that the Lacura one smells stronger. After suffering for years with sensitive skin unable to have eyebrows done through sensitivity, ashamed to wear a vest top because underarms have spots and abscess. I saw miracle cream when shopping used that night and within 24 hours my underarms were nearly clear, I use the night before I want to shave and exfoliate after shaving then use miracle cream again and talcum powder. I was told to shave at night so you don’t have to use perfumed products that can irritate, also at night your not perspiring as much so your skin can heal. I have done this for 2 weeks and it’s made such a difference, also a tip cut cucumber and rub underarm or lemon and it takes away the darkness. I can’t wait now to be able to wear a vest top and not cover up, I worked with Arden 8 hour and this is more price effective and worked better for me. xx Upgrade your beauty routine with this Lacura Rose Facial Oil. It’s the perfect way to moisturise sensitive skin and bring some additional luxury to your process. This delicate oil will leave you smelling and feeling incredible.I’m on a mission to try out and review every single Lacura product out there and will let you as much unbiased information on the brand as possible. Let me know in the comments what I should review next! How refreshing it is to recommend a very reasonably priced skincare product that’s equally as effective as the product it was ‘inspired’ by. I don’t talk a lot about this, but I get bad Psariosis and have PCOS, which means I wax a lot – so my skin gets sore, cut and dried out. You can use it directly on your face or you can add it to your moisturiser for extra hydration. I have been using it for the last week on my face before I go to bed. You can use it morning and night if you want to but I like to use a Vitamin C booster on my face in the morning. I like that they’re not claiming it’s anything more than a moisturising facial oil. There’s no mention of antioxidants or anti-ageing benefits through the inclusion of Punica Granatum Seed Oil aka pomegranate seed oil (in a higher concentration than PIXI, I might add), is known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties.

I have super dry and sensitive skin and tried them both out over a few weeks. They were both think and lovely to put on and didn’t cause any reactions. Honestly, I got the same results – not difference. If cream isn’t moisturing your skin enough for you, try an oil – in fact, try the Lacura Healthy Glow Rose Oil because it’s SO good. This balm is honestly a life-saver. I slaver it on before bed (it smells like cloves) and under my make-up and it improves my skin considerably.

Have been using this for a long time, and always bulk buy. Having used Elemis, Clinique and Clarins in the past, I can honestly say this is a great alternative and it can compete with the big boys! I like to wear rosehip oil at night. It’s full of that many antioxidants and it really works on a cellular level to rejuvinate the skin – I put it on at night and I wake up glowing,’ Miranda herself has said in the past. I still love the PIXI Rose Oil Blend, it’s an excellent product as is the iconic PIXI Glow Tonic, even Lacura couldn’t come up with a viable alternative to that, I know this because I tried their version and there’s no comparison.
