About this deal

I stand by everything I said about this book last time around. Except that this time, I adopted a don't-read-before-bed strategy to avoid the nightmares, which was incredibly successful. HURRAH. This series says it over and over again—we have to work together to survive. It’s a lesson that fit right into my current world. Josh – A boy in the Waitrose group. After Achilleus, Josh is the second-best fighter of the group and claims he isn't scared of anything. He is killed by infected monkeys.

Rose – The head doctor at the palace. She is loyal to David, but seems to feel guilty about imprisoning Maxie and Blue. According to Jester, she was originally from his group and came to the palace with him and others. They escape this too and a fire is raging on which pushes them towards the River Thames. They are forced to still cross the river towards the Tower of London and this is where they meet up with the other teens from book 1 which was The Enemy to make book three that will be titled The Fear. This book is just as it should be, great apocalypse story and a lot of plot twists that are sure to blow you off your feet. The Dead just epitomizes what Charlie Higson is all about. The charismatic as well as really intriguing author that goes the extra mile to make sure that you actually do get a chance to experience this world as if you were there and it actually happened. The story is captivating and any reader would find the words just right for the occasion as well as making sure that they keep you glued to the book.Maxie - One of the main characters in the book. She becomes leader of the Waitrose crew after Arran dies but has trouble staying mentally strong after his death. She becomes a good leader after Ollie privately tells her that he believes that the Waitrose kids need a leader to look up to and make hard decisions, going on to say that he believes Maxie can be perfect for this. The Holloway crew leaders argue over whether they should or shouldn't agree to fighting the Squatters. In the end, Blue decides they should go over and see what The Squatters have got to say for themselves, and if they don't like it than they shall go. Kate - Tom's girlfriend, she too complains a lot and carries a sword. She also goes on Jester's exploration mission.

Callum – A Waitrose boy who refuses to leave with the other Waitrose children. He survives on his own for a while, but eventually succumbs to bitter loneliness and allow the adults to kill him after they break into the store. His head is later placed on a pole carried by the adults who killed him.

Sickos

I’m reminded of that story where George RR Martin was pulled up by a fan for getting someone’s eye colour wrong… Greg and Liam Thorne are invited to Paul MacLaren's farm in Maidstone to wait out the outbreak. [3] Finn- Finn is a tall strong boy, who is friendly and kind. He goes along with DogNut on the mission to find his missing friends, he has an injured arm in the third book which is in a sling, this means he is mostly unable to do much, which really annoys him, as he feels powerless. He remains at the Natural History Museum. Trigger warnings: gore, death, violence, death of a child, cannibalism, zombies, seriously y'all there is LOTS of death and violence and gore, death of a parent (in the past), animal death, blood, gun violence, stabbing, mentions of depression and mental health. April 24th: Day 7 / Day 5 of The Enemy / Day 2 of Geeks vs Zombies / Day 1 of The Fallen. Two weeks since Paul Channing was bitten. [10]
