About this deal

The C02 is definitely a great option that you should consider, and for the price, I think that it’s on of the best, or the best stereo pair you can get. What comes in the Box? The extra weight of the C-2 gives it that sturdy and durable feeling, I really like heavy microphones, but having said that, they are both excellent. I participated in a blind test of sixty small capsule microphones, the result has been published in Tape Op. Each member of the jury had to listen to the sixty mono folk guitar made and retain 15. Samson CO2 was my selection with Neumann, Schoeps, DPA, Sanken etc. It certainly was not the one I liked and he was not among the 15 most selected by all members, which included eight of my selection, I says to reassure you about the quality of my ears wink .dropoff Window It was after this test I bought the Another issue you have to be careful of with the Cardioid pattern is the Proximity effect. As you move closer to a mic with a Cardioid pattern, you may notice an increase in the lower frequencies. This is known as the proximity effect. It doesn’t occur with an omnidirectional pattern. It has a -20dB PAD which will allow you to use it in high SPL situations withstanding up to 155dB SPL.

Next on the list, we have small diaphragm condenser microphones which aren’t really labeled as “matched- or stereo- pairs” that will work perfectly if two are used simultaneously. MXL V67N MXL V67N Difficult as it may be to imagine, the name is based on its long cylindrical design. A bit like a pencil. They are Condenser mics that have a small diaphragm, by necessity, in this case, 12mm. The sound on the M5 is perfect for quieter instruments or large groups of people. You can use this mic to record vocals without a problem, and it works well with other low frequencies as well, including your drum kit and different loud sounds. The M5 includes 2 mics, so you may worry that your mics will sound off at some point. Not to worry, though, since they work within 1dB of each other. They are consistent and sound about the same. If you use them interchangeably, they shouldn’t have any problems. Just like with the Monoprice mics I think that these are just excellent, always taking the price into account. Pros However, now microphones are no longer made by hand and the differences between the same model are practically none, which means that you no longer have to search for “matched pairs” since you can get two of the same microphone and they will perform pretty much the same. I would have thought that polar patterns and frequency response are more important. Wouldn’t they have greater control over bleed rather than the dynamic or condenser scenario? The Condenser advantage Before you go out to buy your new mic, you must answer that question. The age-old argument and a subject that can cause controversy. But at the end of the day, it can often come down to what you want to use the mic for. Judging by the technical spec, the mic is reasonably sensitive at -40dBV/Pa (which equates to 10mV/Pa) and its noise level of 22dBA, while far from the state of the art, is quiet enough for most close-miking applications. I wouldn't recommend it for recording quieter sounds or for working at a distance, but then that's clearly not its intended application. The manufacturer's recommendations suggest the mic is good for drum overheads, piano, acoustic guitar, and hi-hat — none of which are over-quiet when heard at close quarters. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. is a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc. based in the USA. It cannot be ruled out that your data collected by Facebook will also be transmitted to the USA.However, the enhanced directionality of the Samson C02s provided enough isolation for my drum kit. That’s why pencil condenser microphones are better than large-diaphragm condenser microphones in these situations. These are microphones for indoor use. And if you have a home or a small studio, then they are going to do a decent job. Overheads on drums, especially cymbals, are going to record well, as well as capturing a good room sound, as long as what they are capturing is loud enough to not cause issues due to the high self-noise factor. Given some of its specific attributes, especially a good SPL level, the Samson CO2 gives a decent performance in the studio. It can work with a wide variety of instruments and vocals at a decent level. Therefore for those that are on a tight budget, it is an ideal option. In fact, considering the quality, it’s one of the most affordable condenser microphones on the market. The M5 sounds just like a more expensive microphone, but the actual microphone capsule is not replaceable. You might have some trouble if it breaks. You also don’t have a high-pass switch, nor does the actual mic come with any storage or transport box. Recording vocals with these is entirely possible and some producers choose them for certain vocal types, but where these really shine are loud acoustic instruments, like guitars, drums, violins, etc. Pros
