About this deal

Hell, her own sister cares more about the wedding carrying on without a hitch than anything that is happening with Olivia. I mean oh my god. I was thinking 4 to 4.5 stars at first, but because this one quenched my thirst for twisty perfection, I am gonna go for 5 stars (it is my review and I can do what I want, so there! 🤪🤪🤪🤣🤣🤣)

Weddings are memorable occasions but, as we all know, there's frequently some level of drama simmering just under the pristine surface.

PLUS, putting all that aside? If you don’t trust your man? Your marriage was done, anyway. Whether it is Jules or some random girl at a bar. Your man is who you should be looking at. That AND your marriage. Not Jules.

Thanks for the heads up. My TBR list is too long to devote time to a book with plot holes. Now, donut holes are a w(hole) different story, lol. Pacing- What is pacing? Does that exist. Because all of the above is 90% of the book. Then boom, bang, bam the book is over. It is like getting to the point where Thor puts Storm Breaker in to Thanos’ chest and someone pulls the plug on the TV. Nothing gets resolved. Finney, Joanne (7 May 2021). "The best thrillers and crime novels to read". Good Housekeeping . Retrieved 27 December 2021. But perfection is for plans, and people are all too human. As the champagne is popped and the festivities begin, resentments and petty jealousies begin to mingle with the reminiscences and well wishes. The groomsmen begin the drinking game from their school days. The bridesmaid not-so-accidentally ruins her dress. The bride’s oldest (male) friend gives an uncomfortably caring toast.my only critique would be the ending. as i said, the story spans two days, with a brief epilogue taking place the morning of the third day. i would have loved to have more closure than that. it doesnt feel as if theres a proper ending for many of the characters, so i have no idea how they are going to adjust will the fall out of the events during the wedding weekend.

Let’s not forget Aoife, wedding planner, working her ass off to organize the entire ceremony, achieving a complex and challenging job but she observes everyone, looking agitated, seems like waiting for the shoe drop. Why is she so frustrated? What is she worried about? By the way I reviewed a book called Eight Perfect Murders. And if you like Agatha Christie you will love it. Not because it is written like Agatha Christie, as much as it pays hommage (sp?) to it. We have Olivia who is depressed and pretty haunted. When she’s describing Steven and what happened, did you suspect it was Will or were you surprised at that reveal? Do you think she’ll ever tell Jules about what really happened with him?I would have expected her to question it a little more than she did. But I suppose that's why she's so well suited to you" What did you think about the reveal thatAoife is the sister of Darcey? What did you think about her reasons for having their wedding at the island? Were you surprised that she ends up being the one to murder Will? He’s a longtime friend (and former crush) of the bride. Something dark happened to him at the stag party. He seems to have a history of drinking too much. but overall, this is a very enjoyable and addicting read! i look forward to seeing what kind of story LF comes up with next!

His father was the headmaster of the private school he went to. It all came easy for Will. And now he’s a TV star.Did you think it was interesting that Will was so involved with all those horrible actions that impacted so many of the characters? Or did you think it was a little much? Lie. Jules never blushes. She is always in control. Well except for… no we will get to that in a moment. A go-getter. Organized, pulled up from her bootstraps self-made rich bitch that everyone is jealous of and wants to be like. A trendsetter. Vogel, Dana (26 June 2020). "17 New Thrillers That Will Keep Your Summer Exciting". BuzzFeed News . Retrieved 27 December 2021. Here is the summary of the Guest List by Lucy Foley because my review… I can’t. Most of you already know where this is going, and I just can’t. Generally, I. Just. Can’t. The writing, the characters, and the suspense kept me guessing and I was all over the place trying to pinpoint the murderer. The wildness of this island was getting under everyone's skin. The cliffs, the waves, the sea, that moment.
