However, this special Uno Minecraft card does not have to be played if you are dealt it at the beginning of the game or when drawing it as a punishment (When a Draw 2 or Wild Draw 4 card is played or if you forget to say Uno and it is noticed). The complete setup of the Minecraft Card Game, complete with card holders and an instruction booklet. If you want to craft something, you first will need enough resources to do so, and this can be seen by looking at the craft cards. So, to craft something, choose the craft card you want and trade in the required number of resource cards.

To illustrate this point I want to talk about the TNT cards. Basically whenever you have the opportunity to take a TNT card you should. There is basically no downside to taking one as any possible punishment will be shared with the other players as well. Taking a TNT card basically acts like getting a free turn as you will get to take two Resource Cards instead of one. In some cases taking the TNT card will give you all of the resources that you need to craft a card. If the TNT cards are spread out among the players this isn’t a huge issue, but if one player gets more than the other players they will have essentially gotten more turns than the other players. This will give players a huge advantage in the game. A popular house rule is that the player who is supposed to be skipped can play another Skip card on the first card. But as we already noted, if you play with the official rules, this is not allowed. If you choose to mine a card, you take it from one of the resource piles and add it to your hand. Resources come in numerous different types, and some are rarer (and thus more valuable) than others. CraftIf you are familiar with the history of Uno, you might have spotted some similarities with another popular game. If you choose to craft as an action, you trade in your resource cards to acquire a Craft Card. The Craft Cards have icons on them that designate how many resources are required to craft that card. Shovel: This tool may be used to force a player to limit another player to one action on their next turn. If you desire a certain Craft Card but are unable to pay for it, you may put the card in Reserve. Take the Craft Card you want and place in a Card Holder. The card is now in reserve. When using the hoe, do the cleared resource cards go into the discard pile or into the player's hand?

Next, shuffle the craft cards and then deal them into four piles of six cards each, with the "crafting" side up. One card is left over, which is used for the discard pile. If a player decides to craft, they trade in any resource cards they have available to acquire the respective craft card (e.g. if a player wishes to obtain a craft card with three diamond icons and two wood icons, they are to turn in their resource cards that are equivalent to two wood and three diamonds to "craft" it; however, if the player's resource cards don't match the required resources exactly, the player is allowed to "overpay" for the card, but is given nothing in return). Once you have the crafted tool, you can use it. Using a device won’t count as an action, but a tool can only be used once. You still keep the craft card after you’ve used it, but it can’t be used again for the remainder of the game. To help outline the tool powers, we’ve listed them below. In case any other searcher stumbles here first, I found that there's apparently an "official" answer elsewhere: boardgamegeek dotcom

When played, the skip card forfeits the next player’s turn. In other words, the next player loses his or her turn. You can not play another skip card upon a skip card. At least according to the official rules. If a player decides to mine a resource card, they are to take one resource card from the top of one of the five resource card piles.

Note: There Will Be One Craft Card Left Over. Set It Aside As It Will Not Be Used In The Game. This Will Become Your Discard Pile. Each craft card has a point value, which is used by the player for adding points. The tool associated with the craft card can also be used by the player during the game (see this section for more info). I wouldn’t consider the game to be filled with a lot of strategy, but there are some decisions to make in the game. Most of the decisions revolve around how much risk you want to take. The Craft Cards basically boil down to low value cards that are easy to complete, and harder cards that require more or rarer cards to complete. On top of this players need to analyze what cards they think the other players will be going after on their next turn. For example the Reserve action doesn’t really get you closer to winning the game, but you may have to use it if you think another player will steal the Craft Card that you have been acquiring cards for. Between choosing which cards to take/pursue and how much risk you decide to take, your decisions will have an impact on what ultimately happens. Points are scored as per the scoring system below, by adding up all the card values from the other players. When you have mined the required resources, you may use an Action on your turn to trade them in and get the card out of reserve. Place it with your other crafted cards.
