Midrange is often recessed and distant. It does have a peak in the upper section, though, which often makes it overly bright, almost to the point of being strident. This is especially noticeable with high-pitched instruments such as trumpets or violins. Just like with bass, transients are not really fast, and detail is limited as well. There is no accompanying app with these headphones, like there is with, say, 1More headphone products, which offer 12 EQ presets, nor is there any partnership with something like the third-party SoundID app, a path taken by Grell, for example. The 2300 chipset allows for support of AAC and SBC - there's no LDAC support sadly, but it's possible to meet the Hi-Res Standard (as we mentioned previously) by using the headphones in wired mode. Moreover, the imaging is also quite good but not pinpoint accurate. There are some blurry spots in between channels, but nothing that would ruin your listening experience. OneOdio A30 Frequency Response The default tuning is great, however, the occasional sibilance can be too much for more sensitive users.
So I ended up testing the headphones for probably over about 50+ hours worth of use in total. Not because I wanted to test it for this long for this particular review, but because I just kept using it as my headphones for daily use. So you could say that this pair of headphones has become my ‘go-to’ headset outside of product reviewing. Who would have guessed? For me, the A10 are a pleasant listen, with good detail and adequate resolution - it's a shame there's no app for users to tweak the sound to their own personal preference, and hopefully this will come in time, at least for iPhone users who don't have the benefit of Wavelet to call upon. Going into the more positive side, earpads use soft pleather with tight stitching that doesn’t seem cheap.Friendly Design, Superior Comfort – A custom-designed over-the-ear super soft protein cushions to provide pillow-like softness while listening, and an adjustable headband suitable for all-day wear I am notoriously bad at judging comfort due to my overly sensitive scalp, but I find the A10 to be quite uncomfortable due to the headband having very little padding. While the earpads are fine, if a bit warm, the headband definitely would enjoy a bit more padding. Note that another upside of listening wired is that you aren't using any of the battery life, but at the same time you can't access the ANC modes.
Dual Device Bluetooth Connections: Under Bluetooth mode, Oneodio noise cancelling wireless headphones support connection between 2 devices, so that you won‘t miss phone calls after you already connected your phone and other device, and can shift devices connection at your choice. The timbre is on the colder side of natural, and this works well with most music styles, especially electronic 80's & 90's from the likes of Tears for Fears and Seal. Switching ANC on/off doesn't have a huge impact on the sound in the way we often see it tightening the sound up on TWS. Using the headphones in wired over wireless gives you the benefit of Hi-Res Audio, and for me I did notice an upturn in the sound when plugging a cable in. Everything feels a little tighter, and the volume seems a little quieter, so you may have to crank it up a little louder.Bass is to the fore, although sometimes just a little woolly but there’s plenty of detail to be heard as long as the source is good. There are some similar headphones available at this price but most of the direct competition hails from brands similarly less well known in the UK. The OneOdio A10 feature the Bluetooth 5.0 standard together with the SBC and AAC codecs. The connection is stable, but it doesn’t offer a wide range.
Build quality is that which you can expect from low-priced headphones, so it’s not exceptional, but it’s still quite good for the price. There’s no creaking whatsoever while wearing the headphones, but there is some if you bend the headband sideways with some force. Speaking of mids, I liked the mids on the KPH30i better, even though the mids were actually more detailed on the Pro 50 Studio. That’s because the warmth and richness of the midrange on the Koss sounded more natural to me, plus it wasn’t colored by the upper bass as it was on the OneOdio. Bass is overly present, with a large bump in the mid-bass section which has quite steep slopes on both sides. It often sits on top of mids, masking their lower section. It’s rather limited in speed, with transients being slow and then having a long decay; this makes bass not quite detailed nor layered.

So as well as being a great pair of headphones for music, the OneOdio A Series provides excellent noise cancellation for everyday use and also for when it’s required when travelling on airplanes. You also get an airplane adapter with each pair so you can plug into those airplane systems via wired connection if bluetooth isn’t an option. Listening to the song Clique by Big Sean, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, the bass was still a little too elevated for my taste, but it was very detailed and far from one note. It drove the rhythm really well, even though it colored the vocals just a bit. With the detail up top and quality bass on display, I can see bass lovers enjoying the Pro 50’s sound.
