Zima is a rather uncommon Polish and Russian surname that means "winter", referencing her white color palette that looks like snow.

Naomi is a Hebrew girls' name that has origins from both the Christian and Hebrew Bibles. It is associated with calmness and friendliness, something rather out of character for her, which is likely intentional for laughs. Natasha seems to be nice to Shanelle, as seen when she offers her things, but Shanelle never really says much to her despite her kindness, most likely because Natasha does these things often at the worst times. Nonetheless, they bond more throughout the series and still care about each other.
