About this deal

In this novel we are introduced to the lives of a family with 3 young children, Jo, Bessie and Fanny. This tree grows so high that it reaches special clouds that contain magical lands which visit every now and again and rest on the top-most branches. The Magic Faraway Tree Collection is a magical box-set, which includes some of the most amazing stories penned down by Enid Blyton. When Joe, Beth and Frannie move to the countryside, they discover that their new house lies next to the Enchanted Wood and themagical Faraway Tree. We pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

As I got a bit older I used to love reading her other series-The Wishing Chair, Mallory Towers, The Twins of St Clair's, The Secret Seven, The Children of Cherry Tree Farm and my favourite back then, The Famous Five. I love Enid blyton books and even today when I re-read all of her stories, it takes me back to my childhood days <3 which is the only reason re-read them at time. I've had to dig out the original creased, coverless versions of these books that I had as a child so my own kids can get the proper story. One day they discover a tree which seems larger than the others and decide to climb it, uncovering a host of magical people and creatures that actually live in between the branches in cosy little homes.According to the Index Translationum, Blyton was the fifth most popular author in the world in 2007, coming after Lenin but ahead of Shakespeare.

For the 1% of you who don't know, Jo, Bessie, and Fanny (yes this is the non PC edition) move from the city to the country with their parents.

While observing the brownies, the children see a gnome creep up and attempt to steal a bag from the brownies. The first title of the main trilogy, The Enchanted Wood, was published in 1939, although the Faraway Tree and Moon-Face had already made a brief appearance in 1936 in The Yellow Fairy Book. In 1948, the first part of Up The Faraway Tree was published in Sunny Stories Magazine in picture-strip form. Join the children and their new friends Moon-Face, Saucepan Man and Silky the Fairy as they explore this most magical of all fairytale worlds in the three original Magic Faraway Tree novels by beloved author Enid Blyton. As touched upon, quite a few of the funny situations in the Faraway Tree stories are caused by Saucepan's minimal hearing ability and, added to other peculiar happenings, there is an endless supply of material to stimulate the reader's interest.

It's a table soaring skyward with the children squeezed on it followed by a bench bearing Moon-Face, Silky and Saucepan and if you don't believe a situation like this could take place just take a look at the Dorothy Wheeler picture.Deliveries to destinations outside Australia are made by DHL courier, and cannot be made to post office boxes. Out of the three stories I would say The Magic Faraway Tree was the better of the three and I would've given this story alone 4 stars. It belongs to the house of the Angry Pixie and his method of evening the odds when passers-by look in on him is to empty a kettle of water over the nosy-parkers.
