Do not taste direct on your tongue as you will need to get your tongue under a running tap for 10 mins.

As one of my friends remarked, after trying a drop on the end of a cocktail stick, "How the hell have you eaten half a bottle of that s***! Well, my Mad Dog 357 arrived this morning and it's taken me until now to gather the courage to try it.I purchased this sauce many years ago with another and underestimated the heat level due to trying the other much milder one first. I asked what it was and was told something along the lines of mayo/ranch/sour cream (maybe 2 or even all 3 of them) and Dave's Gourmet Insanity Sauce.

Only complaint is that the weights themselves are not quite the weight they're labelled as, but they're close enough for my purposes.Product Ingredients: Dave's Insanity Sauce contains: Tomato sauce, onions, hot pepper extract, hot peppers, vinegar, spices, soy oil, garlic, salt.

I brought a bottle of this into work around 2000 sometime and shared with some of the guys who loved the heat. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented here and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product. Just brush a tiny bit mixed with water on whatever it is they're trying to destroy, it's like they can smell the extreme hotness before they get to it and won't touch it. My favorite way to enjoy it is in homemade chili, just a small drop goes a long way and adds a bang without all that manufactured flavor of other sauces. The main two ingredients are chillies and tomato purée and Dave has even added xanthan gum to thicken it, though I suspect that was more to keep it from separating completely. Dave was a pioneer, using oleoresin like no one ever had before and paving the way for far hotter sauces. A single drop of any strength I've seen will set even my mouth utterly on fire for a good long while and the weaker ones don't tend to look that dark. This sauce by itself is straight up pain in a bottle, but I cannot wait to start trying it on different foods. The product contains onions, garlic, vinegar and a miscellaneous assortment of spices but literally all I can taste is tomato purée and a similarly concentrated version of your standard supermarket variety red chilli flavour.

The hottest I have on hand is Melinda's Naga Jolokia, which is about as hot as I want, but it's very tasty.

Part of the problem was that prior to experiencing Dave's Insanity sauce, I thought I could take hot sauce pain with the best of them. Dave’s Insanity Sauce is absolutely the best- use with caution though, tried on pizza once and probably drank an entire gallon of milk before I cooled off. Expect lip swelling and nose running if you over do it not to mention a searing building heat and a euphoric head buzz. Marinate 1 single piece of chicken in Dave's Insanity Sauce for 24 hours, whilst the remaining chicken is marinated in a covering of Chicken Tonight plus a few drops of red food colouring.
