But if you are at a get-together in France and you met someone for the first time, and then spent some time chatting with them, you have now perhaps moved from the formal to the informal. We can literally tell someone to take care of themselves, usually a friend or someone you’re close to, with the phrase “ prends soin de toi”. This is a beautifully written, complex and involving story which take place almost exclusively in France - with the odd trip to Switzerland.
