About this deal

In my opinion this show is something everyone should experience once in their lifetime as it will enthral you. As the first half of the show begins the audience are greeted with a projected Michael Flatley and a giant clock alluding to the opening of the show.

Along the way the Spirit meets different dancers as well as a Black Swan like love triangle that threatens to turn the head of Ireland’s saviour, the Lord of the Dance himself. You can’t help but have a big smile on your face when the full ensemble cast fill the width of the stage at St David’s Hall and with their legs kicking and tapping in perfect sync. Nadine Coyle will reprise the role of Erin the Goddess in Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games at the Dominion Theatre, London for 10 performances only from 13 to 21 March. Michael Flatley, who has recently retired from UK performances, is excited to hand over the reins to such talented performers. Last week Michael Flatley welcomed press to the London Palladium where his final West End show, entitled Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games, opens next Monday (1st September) for a limited run.

Flatley’s decades-old rebellion against the prudishness, rules and restraint of traditional Irish dance. Choreographed and directed by Michael Flatley, 40 of the world’s most outstanding young dancers and musicians take to the stage delivering electrifying performances that bring audiences to their feet night after night. With new music by composer Gerard Fahy, this ‘extraordinary and supremely stirring show’ (Daily Telegraph) combines the best of tradition with all the excitement of new music and dance. This weekend Cardiff has had the luck of the Irish as Michael Flatley’s worldwide phenomenon ‘Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games’ has played in St David’s Hall. If you’re a fan of this type of dancing and the Irish music and culture this show is without a doubt the show for you to attend next.

Michael Flatley's Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games is set to have its West End premiere at the legendary London Palladium on 1 September, 2014. With all the visceral precision and thrills of the original, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games features new staging, new costumes and mesmerising new choreography. All of the stops are pulled out in this Irish Dancing Extravaganza with dancing that is simply mesmerising. The tour is one of the biggest the UK has ever had and has currently been seen by 60 million people in 60 different countries on every continent. The ostensible hero, the Lord of the Dance, loses his prize belt to a cyborg-like Dark Lord and wins it back with the help of a Little Spirit, a small and irritating gymnast who looks as if she were drizzled with glue and then rolled in sequins. This has been the problem for 20 years, since he transformed traditional Irish dance into souped-up spectacles. The cast at the Playhouse Theatre will be led by James Keegan and Morgan Comer, who have both won every major title in competitive Irish Dance.
