There were moments in the book when he just got on my nerves because of his bad behavior towards Silver. Kim’s mother and friends have been cruel to her and made fun of her body all the time. Xander was also one of the people who were hurting her. Before Xan stopped talking to her, they were inseparable best friends. She took full responsibility for his rejection because he was someone she had put her trust in. The only thing that gets her out of bed in the morning is her younger brother Kir, who was really CUTE. She will give up everything for him. They are very close, but her dad is often gone for work. Lastly, this is classified as a standalone and while I do believe it’s enjoyable on it’s own, I strongly suggest reading the first three books of this series if you haven’t already, as the couple in this book was mentioned several times and it kind of sets up their dynamic that’s followed up in this book. Xander and Kim are my favorite couple in the Elite series and also the most heartbreaking one. Their love was so beautiful as kids, and I hated that it was ruined by such a huge miscommunication and misunderstanding but honestly who can blame Xander for thinking or believing something so massive?I barge in front of him, wrap my arms around his waist, and rest my head against his chest, breathing in his scent.

the OW he "hangs" out with are the primary bullies. GRRRRR!!! 🤬🤬🤬We find out that he doesn't do anything with them Xan's a virgin and never had sex with any of them. He just watches p0rn with them, or if there's two of them, each other , but it still angered me that he didn't try to actively stop them😑. He's "supposed" to hate her... but I don't think that should've been his answer. Aiden would've never allowed anyone to bully Elsa... I'm just saying 🤷🏻‍♀️ (he would’ve been the only bullying her lol 💅) Sufrí con su separación y la manera tan horrible que Xander trataba a Kim pasó de ser su mejor amigo una de las personas más importantes en su vida a la persona que más la lastima Kimberly: I wish you were never my friend. I wish there was never me or you or us.~ I cried so hard.My heart broke seeing her go through so much turmoil. Feeling alone and getting lost inside your own head is not the way to live, it’s something even I can relate with. Along with everything else, the hot and cold behaviour of Xan wasn’t helping her either. I absolutely hated Xan whenever he hurt her. But then the author dropped a big BOMB, one I could not have anticipated in a million years. Things finally started to make sense. I Can’t Express enough, that if you need to try out one specific book from this series IN Audiobook - THIS IS THE ONE! It was just the same cycle repeating again and again. Cole wants Silver. Silver tries to push him away with the same words again and again. Cole Nash is a mystery. He is the outward gentleman you will meet, but the silent villain who won't hesitate to rip you into pieces if you came in his way. There was so much more to cole and he is the damn best character Rina has ever created. I loved being in his mind. The way he saw things was different from anything I have ever seen! None of you are ready for the chaos Cole Nash is going to bring at you!! ohh and I also know who the 'dog' was in his car !! lol :)

Cole, even when you see from his pov everything is quite but deadly. But he is full of surprises , I really coudn't keep up with his brain .

And now, I am going to go reread this story again. Also side note no one asked for, their relationship dynamic was also reminiscent to one of my other all time favorite couple of hers in her book Misted. Full of hate stemmed out of a love too strong and a past you can’t change. If you’ve read it and than read this one, you’ll see why. If not, please read it! I love that book. I was so curious about Xander and Kimberly’s dynamics whilst reading Aiden and Elsa’s story. I wasn’t sure how their story would play out, the push and pull tension was there even from the outside and Rina Kent DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! To those of you who have read the previous books in this series you probably know a little about Xan and Kim, but I knew nothing about them because unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to read the previous books, but that will change. Soon. The boy with golden hair and blue eyes that he stole from the ocean, the sky, and the magic in books.
